Yahoo school: EFCC arrests proprietor of “Yahoo Yahoo” school in Lagos

The Economic and Financial Crime Commission had on Tuesday arrested, Frank Chinedu, Proprietor of Yahoo Yahoo school in Lagos 

This was disclosed by The EFCC spokesman, Tony Orilade  on Tuesday.

22 year old, Chinedu was arrested alongside 8 others, who are said to be students at the unnamed training center, located at, 14 Animashaun street, Progressive Estate, Ojodu Berger, Lagos, while they were receiving lectures on topics related to internet fraud.

The students are, Benjamin Opah, 19, Innocent Paul, 20, Olamide Edun, 20, Ahmed Musa, 24, Benjamin Irabor,21, Desmond Eze, 29, Akapo Prosper, 23 and Preye Kingsley, 25.

 

The suspects was said to have been arrested undercover on 22nd May, the arrest was followed by an intelligence reports that was received by the commission.

Items recovered includes a Toyota Camry with registration number EPE 406 FN, 16 mobile phones, 9 laptops, Orange wifi, airtel modem.

According to the Commission the suspects will soon appear in court.
