Breaking: Jigawa State Assembly put an end to reignment of speaker, whip and majority leader

Mr Isah Idris speaker of Jigawa State Assembly has been impeached

Reports by Daily Post gathered that the speaker was impeached on thursday in an emergency meeting.

20 out of the 30 lawmakers attended the emergency meeting.

The House, with one accord voted Idris Garba Kareka as the new speaker of the State Assembly.

Aminu Sule Sankara the chief whip and Sank Isiyaku the majority were impeached alongside.
