Breaking News: President Muhammadu Buhari set to dissolve cabinet asks ministers to submit performance report
President Muhammadu Buhari set to dissolve his cabinet as he gives one week to members to submit comprehensive status reports about their polices, programs and projects from their various ministries, agencies and departments
According to Premium Times the members have 24th April as the deadline for submission.
They are to submit the reports to the Presidential Audit commitee in the office of the Vice President, this disclosed by the Presidential Spokesman Garba Shehu
This directive is due to the winding down of President Muhammadu Buhari first term in Office.
A circular to this effect issued by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation Boss Mustapha requests that all members of the Federal Executive Council should ensure that all outstanding memoranda that they intend to submit to the Federal Executive Council must be submitted to the Cabinet Affairs Office, Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation by 30th of April.
Also the Circular also informed that all members of the ‘ 9th and 10th meetings of the Council have been reshceduled to 25th of April 2019 and 2nd May 2019. Due to the Easter break and May day celebration.
