Ihedioha sacked as Governor of Imo state by the Supreme Court

The Supreme Court in Abuja has sacked Governor Emeka Ihedioha, as the Governor of Imo state orders Hope Uzodinma of the All Progressive Congress (APC), to be sworn in immediately.

The Apex court in an unanonimous judgement by Justice Kudirat Kekere-Ekun said that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) was wrong to have excluded some votes from the scores of Uzodinma.

Sokoto state’s case was postponed till Monday.
