JAMB to release cut-off marks for the 2019/2020 admission
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), has disclosed that it would meet with it’s stakeholders on Tuesday, in order to decide the cut-off marks for the 2019/2020 admission year
The meeting which would be chaired by the honourable Minister of Education, is to take its place at Gbongan, Osun State, Nigeria.
Dr Fabian Benjamin, the JAMB spokesman, advised all candidates who sat for the 2019 UTME that they should not regard any cut off mark peddled by fraudsters, describing or as fake.
In a statement the JAMB registrar said “The clarification became necessary following speculations that the board had fixed the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) 2019 cut off mark.
“It is pertinent to note that the heads of institutions and other stakeholders, will do so at a policy meeting which is chaired by the honourable minister of education,
“The board has scheduled the policy meeting for 11th June, at Gbongan, Osun state”.
Th board had released the results of about 1.7 million out of 1.8 million candidates who sat for the examination on the 11th of May 2019.
